Winnipeg is one of the most beautiful spot to visit. Or at least I found the city so. Last summer when I was planning for a long vacation tour, I was bombarded by many catchy advertisements and so-called great offers. The more I searched on internet, the more I got puzzled and find confused on issues like where to go, which hotel to book etc. Finally one of my friends suggested visiting Winnipeg.
As I was confused I decided to honor my well traveled friend’s advice and as I am from eastern part of the globe, booked an oriental themed room at Quality Inn and Suites simply because I found it relatively better because of its proximity to city and relatively cheap rates. But I was not sure of the quality of the hotel neither was I confident about Winnipeg city’s nature.
Finally I landed in this southern city of Manitoba in Canada. I was amazed finding that how beautiful the city was. Its location and other things–the rivers, lakes, parks, architecture, etc; whatever I saw, I found extremely beautiful and attractive. And when I entered the hotel Quality Inn and Suites, I was their staff unbelievably polite and charming. And finally I entered my room with oriental theme.
The hotel was located on Pembina Highway and its location is most important aspect. All the important spots like University of Winnipeg, University of Manitoba, The Forks- city’s most popular spot etc are within a few kilometer distances.
All these things made my vacations a memorable experience. And, yes, I didn’t forget to thank my wise friend as well.
