Europe is one of the most culturally and historically rich areas of the world, outside of Italy, Greece, and Egypt. Best of all, you can easily find subway hotels near many of the best museums of Europe, and close by to metro lines or subways that will take you to those museums you cannot reach on foot. Paris offers perhaps the most museums in Europe, and all of them are easily assessable from Paris hotels located on the subway. The best thing about Paris is that you can easily purchase passes that offer you free or discounted admission to the museums, as well as unlimited use of the metro line for a few days or weeks, depending on the length of your stay.

Many Berlin hotels are also offer museums that are very accessible from the subway, or U-Bahn, although many of these museums are history museums. There is one rather large complex, however, that offers many art galleries, including some Picasso, as well as sculptures, Egyptian art and artifacts, and photography. Madrid hotels offer easy access to the metro line and art museums as well, with easy access to the Museo del Prado, which houses many art collections, including classical art of Madrid. Regardless of where in Europe you travel, you can always be sure that art museums rich in history and culture are just around the corner on the subway.
